There is no autofocus. So, focus before you start or use manual focus. Otherwise, it's an informative video.

I think this is a truly exelent instructional video, unfortunately, I have not been able to execute your instructions. I can't get the mirror to lock up during exposure. I have the 5dsr, an exelent sturdy Gitzo tripod with a No 2 head, even a loup just like yours and just bought a Canon RC 6 remote specially for this purpose, I suspect the RC 6 is the problem, one must set the self timer in the camera in order for it to work, this seems to disable the mirror lock up. I suspect a cable release is necesary in order to be able to keep the mirror locked up. Is this the problem? Or is it possibly something else I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

For what its worth, a generation ago... if you ever read this, when it was reported you were shot, the higher ups requested your camera and all media be collected up and destroyed. However, the "Best" MSGT we worked with copied all files and gave it to those there at that little ANP compound/palace, and made sure those images would never be forgotten. I do not know if that is how you retained them all or not, but we saved em all, just in case, for you and the truth! I wish somehow he could get this message.

I've owned 7 Canon cameras through the years. My first Canon camera was the A-1 way back in 1979. It was the most advanced camera back then. My latest Canon is the R5. Canon finally made facial recognition on the R5 a godsend after Sony came out with their own version of facial recognition before Canon decided to have it in the R5.

How can i see the grid not only in the screen live view but also in the lens when i look at the object through the camera?

Can you tell me how to switch from the viewfinder to the screen when shooting? I have looked and cant find it, I want to able to lower my camera say to my feet to get a really low shot and be able to see what im shooting on the screen instead of having to use the viewfinder. Can anyone help??
